Microblading is a semi-permanent tattoo that is applied to your brows by one of our professional Lash & Brow artists- all by hand. We use safe pigments that are then tattooed onto your first layer of skin with individual extremely small, feathered strokes that blend in perfectly with your current eyebrow hair. The end masterpiece is a beautiful and natural looking, full brow that is no maintenance and won't require you to lift a finger for brow perfection.
How long will my brows last?
Since the pigment being used in this procedure is only semi-permanent, its effects will typically last around 6-12 months or sometimes even longer. Since everyone has different skin types and lifestyles, Lash and Brow can not guarantee that an your brows will last a certain length of time before needing a touch up. Most of our clients usually will want/need a touch up as early as 6 months or some people can push it out as long as 1 year.
How long will the Microblading take?
At Lash and Brow we are perfectionists at heart so your first appointment will take about 2-3 hours. We will create a detailed plan to make sure we create your dream brow look. Your second appointment for a touch up will usually take place in about 5-6 weeks after your initial MicroBlading session and touch ups usually only last about 1-2 Hours. There may also be cases where corrections may need to be done due to bad aftercare. All touch ups after bad aftercare can range from 2-3 hours.
Does Microblading hurt?
At Lash and Brow your comfort is important to us, everyone has a different pain tolerance level so it is hard to say. Some people say it feels similar to getting your eyebrows tweezed, and others say they just feel the pressure being applied. We apply two different topical anesthetics to provide as much comfort to you during the procedure as possible, one is applied 15 minutes before the start and the other is applied through out the whole microblading process.
How long does it take to heal from Microblading?
Usually the your brows will be fully healed with in 2-6 weeks but everyone has a different healing time. Immediately following the microblading procedure the pigment will appear darker than you might want and the surrounding skin around your brows may be sensitive(much like you just got them waxed)
